Philly!!

We loved Philly!  We had the most gracious hostess, who even put up with night wakings and very very early mornings.  Amy, when you have kids -- we owe ya BIG time. We loved the weather, we loved the cookies, we loved the pop-up garden, we loved shake shack, we loved the city!

Oh, one of us didn't love to go sight see. Guess who.

On Theo's actual birthday we...

Ate breakfast at our new table and chairs!
(okay, this was a couple days later...but he
did get the table and chairs on his birthday.)

kept the sun out of our eyes.

wore sunscreen.

went swimming with Uncle Tony.

made funny faces at taco deli.  And maybe ate some fish tacos too. 

thought we didn't like apple pie and ice cream. 

oh wait. this stuff is delicious!

took a family photo.

watched Daddy blow out the candle.

had dinner with the grandparents and Uncle Tony.

had a good day.

Can't wait to see what the next year brings us!

Happy Birthday (Party) Theo!

We had a party at Krause Springs, a family favorite, a weekend early to celebrate our big guy's first birthday.  We are so blessed to be surrounded by so many of our favorite people! (And so sad that some of our favorites live so far away, we missed y'all!!)

These two did not care for the cold water at first :)  They warmed up to it later.

Busy, Busy, Busy

We have been busy, busy, busy!  Busy with guests, busy with parties, busy with teething :(, and now busy with vacation.  Next week its my goal to post everything that has kept me from posting!  Until then, here is Theo taking some steps at his birthday party.  You don't even have to turn your head for this one :)
