Port A for Mother's Day

We were oh so lucky to spend the weekend on the coast.  We had (some) great sunshine, great seafood, and great laughs.  Theo thought the seaweed was the best thing ever, and it was his personal duty to clean up the entire beach.  His new favorite pastime is watching the waves, and his new favorite food is  sand, yum! 

The first time Theo "saw" the beach.  Those waves made some great white noise :)

It rained Sunday morning, so both boys decided to take naps.  Theo is an exceptionally light sleeper, so I wouldn't even dare to try to take a picture of him catching some zzzs.  Whoever came up with the phrase "slept like a baby" was not talking about my baby.

It kept raining, so we decided to get out of the condo.  Then, of course, after driving 30 miles, the sun decided to make an appearance.

Mmmmm, mmm, mmmm, love that sand.

Car Rides and Cows

So, Monday night Charlie asked, "Do you want to go get some ice cream?" Ummm, yes. Yes I did.  Theo didn't get any ice cream, but he had a jolly time anyway.

Charlie is telling Theo, "The cow says MOOOO."  

Wednesday afternoon Theo and I went on a "car ride" around the block.  He loved it, probably because cars are just way cooler than strollers.

 

                          

We also may or may not have gone to Chuy's twice this week. (Once was just for happy hour :))  We are leaving for the beach tomorrow, pray for clear skies full of sunshine!

I can't believe it!

This little big guy turned 9 months yesterday!!

And he is as happy as can be (most of the time, we all have our moments. Am I right?)

It's really fun to crawl out of chairs...

We are extra excited for the weekend this week because we are headed to the beach.  Just 3 more days!

The weekend...

...is over. (Cue sad music.)  We had a great weekend, with the perfect balance of being busy and relaxing.    

Theo and Hank met.  Instant buddies.

We spent Friday in Fredericksburg with Aunt Deborah, Aunt Becky, and my mom shopping, eating and shopping some more!

Theo even got to roam around some, and we couldn't keep that boy out of the fountains!

Saturday we spent the afternoon at the Jester King brewery, so much fun! We have to go back.

This gets me

Everytime.  Theo loves to crawl around with a sock in his mouth.  He thinks he is soo funny. Goober.  Also, why is the flash on my phone so darn bright???

Theo was excited that Aunt Caitlin came to stay with us for the night.  We miss you already Aunt Caitlin!  Please come back and make more animal noises that make us giggle and giggle and giggle.
